Fancy Dress Friday

Raid your dressing up box, steal your mum’s make up and generally make merry with odd ball charity shop purchases! The circus has arrived at Balado in the form of Fancy Dress Friday. For the last two year’s T in the parkers have got into the spirit of things and whether bought or made, an outfit has been worn.  Last year’s winners paid tribute to the Sunday night headliners Blur by dressing up as milk cartons from Blur’s award winning video Coffee and TV.

Last year also brought lots of Amy Winehouse’s, and everywhere you turned skin tight morph suits throwing shapes. Special mentions need to go The Simpsons family in full blue make-up.
This year we’ve suggested the theme of ‘The Mad Hatter’s T Party’.  Everyone is more than welcome to embrace the theme or come up with your own ideas!

Adopt the silly side of life and make your costume as outlandish as possible. The harder you try the easier it will be to spot your mates across the crowd! Once you’ve got your ticket sorted, get planning - will you come as a group or keep it secret until the weekend and surprise each other?
The challenge is on - there will be fantastic prizes for the best dressed T in the Parkers who really wow us with their costumes.  See you at the Indie Disco in the campsite between 1.00pm – 4.00pm where the best dressed will be crowned.

Tennent’s Lager are also holding a Fancy Dress Friday competition this year – they’re looking for T in the Parkers to step into the world of their new advert and come dressed as one of the characters.
